Writing Center Peer Tutor

In the writing center, tutors assist students with English assignments, discusses the content, and offers tips on essay writing and text analysis. We also help tutees develop effective learning strategies, facilitate independent learning by helping them discover their own answers and insights, and often refer to other resources on campus that can support student’s learning.

I receive and unpack deliveries, replenishes products in store racks, shelves, and displays; process payments by totaling purchases; handling cash, credit cards and gift cards. I also welcome customers by greeting them; offering them assistance, suggesting items and providing information.
