Our New Lunch Menu
Confeitaria Colombo is thrilled to announce the release of their new menu crafted by Executive Chef Anthony Fernandes at the Restaurante.
Colombo is well known for its upscale presentation in its stylish boutique shop and restaurant. The new menu can be experienced a la carte or as a multi-course meal.
Chef Fernandes pushes the new menu beyond flavour and texture, to explore cuisine as a visual medium to create fashion on the plate. Dishes are delicious and satisfying, but are also evocative of stories or memories, and toy with colour and shape; some plates embrace monochromatic themes, other dishes are playfully charming.
“We focus on the details, many small details that build the difference between ordinary and extraordinary,” says Chef Fernandes. “I hope that after a meal, our guests can understand the underlying intentions we put in our food to convey a message or inspiration to a dish.”
Chef Fernandes brings years of experience and a background in fine dining to Confeitaria Colombo, having learned his trade in France. His discipline, skill, and creativity has also taken him to the top of a number of cooking competitions, including the 2011 National Chef Challenge, in which he won Gold and was named Brazilian Chef of the Year.
